This novella, okay I think I just had a come to Aspen moment. If you had read any of my previous reviews on this series, it is no secret that I am not Aspen’s number one fan; however, it seems like there maybe a little tiny cove in my heart where he could find. He is really caring, kind, generous and sweet. I think his ability to relate and comfort America’s family and provide for his own is endearing. You find that he goes above and beyond is responsibilities both for America and for the country.

I am still in no way, shape, or form a huge Aspen fan and I will not be shouting his praises from the rooftops but I might have judged him a bit to harshly and it is nice and refreshing to find that he has redeemable qualities. He is not the pariah I believed him to be…but my heart and love still belongs to Maxon.
