Blog Tour/Review/Giveaway: Long Way Home by Katie McGarry

SYNOPSIS:

Seventeen-year-old Violet has always been expected to sit back and let the boys do all the saving.

It’s the code her father, a member of the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, raised her to live by. Yet when her dad is killed carrying out Terror business, Violet knows it’s up to her to do the saving. To protect herself, and her vulnerable younger brother, she needs to cut all ties with the club—including Chevy, the boy she’s known and loved her whole life.

But when a rival club comes after Violet, exposing old secrets and making new threats, she’s forced to question what she thought she knew about her father, the Reign of Terror, and what she thinks she wants. Which means re-evaluating everything: love, family, friends . . . and forgiveness.

Caught in the crosshairs between loyalty and freedom, Violet must decide whether old friends can be trusted—and if she’s strong enough to be the one person to save them all.

REVIEW:

*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*

I think I have been waiting for Violet’s story since she was first introduced several books ago. She was just such a spit-fire and I wanted to be in her head and see what made her tick and boy was I not disappointed. The third book in the Thunder Road series was filled with drama, tension, plot-twists I NEVER saw coming, and romance. I really loved how this book brought everything full circle, the gang was together and made a pact to stick together. Their friendship, resilience, and determination is inspiring.

I adore Chevy, he is sweet, sexy, and selfless. Seriously, this boy would take a bullet for Violet, there relationship is so swoon-worthy. They push each other to be better and it absolutely turns me into a pile of mushy goo. I was just in love with them being in love. Then let me talk about these plot twists because I paused while reading and literally stared at my Kindle…95% into the book…and said, “I never saw that coming.” I was truly in shock, even as my brain was trying to work out the ending, I never would have called it correctly. It was the perfect twist to this story.

I love that Violet is becoming friends with Addison because I have wanted to know more about her since she first crossed my path in Walk The Edge. So fingers are crossed for that the next book is hers! It just a good read, to put it simply. It ends with me satisfied but the atmosphere always leaves me wanting more.
