Review: Broken Pieces by Dawn Pendleton

SYNOPSIS:Broken Pieces

It’s been a rough year for Gabby Peterman. Her best friend’s dad died six months ago, her other best friend has leukemia and isn’t doing well, and her marriage? After three years, it’s more of a joke than a relationship. Despite all the odds, she’s managed to stay strong for the people around her, supporting them through all their trials. But when death strikes again and one of her closest friends disappears, Gabby loses it.
On the verge of a mental breakdown himself, Wolfe Landon will do anything to win Gabby over. But first, he’s going to prove to her just how much he cares and loves her, because losing her will rip out his heart and soul.

REVIEW:

First off, if you have not read the first two books from the Broken Series, go read them, they are amazing and you will not be disappointed. Now, onto book 3, Broken Pieces. This is Gabby and Wolfe’s story and I loved it! The first half of the book I was raging wondering why Gabby was being such a b*tch but then when the secrets start to come out one after another after another. Past 50% into the book there was a twist practically every other page. Just when I wrapped my head around one thing, another was thrown at me. I was on the edge of my chair and had to read this in one sitting because you simply cannot put it down. Loved the ending and the promise from Dawn to touch on the Baker topic again, this is a favorite series of mine, so refreshing to read.
