This book was a sweet, charming, endearing, quick read. I am familiar with Laura Howard from her prior published trilogy which is more paranormal and mythology; however, don’t be quick to turn down this book because it is something different. Noah and Kate have spent their lives growing up together and eventually falling in love. Unfortunately, life tore there love apart and death has the potential to bring them back together. It was a truly giggle worthy read that had moments of sadness and moments of retribution.

Kate and Noah have an extensive history, complete with skeletons in the closet and this story is so much more than learning to move past the past. It’s a story about being able to forgive yourself, to love yourself, and to allow yourself to find happiness. It was a beautiful tale of love, lost, and loving again. I can’t wait to see which secondary character is the star of the next book.
