Review: Changing His Game by Megan Erickson

SYNOPSIS:

He controls the game, but she’s rewriting all the rules…

Marley Lake is no stranger to awkwardness, but getting caught watching a dirty GIF by the company’s hot new IT guy exceeds even her standards. That is, until she realizes he’s as turned on by it as she is. But with a big promotion on the line, she refuses to let her current dry spell be her downfall. Maybe.

Austin Rivers has no business lusting after the irresistible editor of Gamers Magazine. He’s a secret partner in the business—and technically Marley’s boss. One look at that GIF, though, and he’s ready to install a whole lot more than just software…as long as she never finds out who he really is.

But reality’s not as virtual as it seems, and when Austin’s identity jeopardizes Marley’s promotion, he has to change his game or risk losing the only woman with the cheat code to his heart.

REVIEW:

This is probably one of the, if not the sexiest books I have ever read. So if you have ever met me, I blush, a lot. Its embarrassing and mortifying and I have no control over it, regardless of how many times I read sexy books…they cause me to become a tomato. So I am casually reading this book and literally 2 pages into the story I am blushing…and that just continues through the ENTIRE BOOK. It was a constant wave of steamy, sexy, tantalizing moments and I couldn’t put it down.

So once you get past the ridiculous amounts of sex…I really enjoyed the story line. As a girl who loves video games, this was absolutely awesome and inspiring to see the heroine into video games. More authors should write characters like this and I applaud Megan Erickson for being bold enough to step outside the box. Megan also flawlessly captures the drive women need to have in industries predominantly male.

Austin was drop dead brooding, sexy, darkness that I wanted to become lost in. Marley and Austin are like light and darkness and they balance each other out perfectly. I am dying to know more about secondary characters…Grant, Chad, Owen, I need these men more! Overall, the book was sexy perfection and I am so glad my friend convinced me to give it a try.

I’m glad you liked this!! Even as someone not into video games, I was also really happy to see a heroine so into them.
