Review: Three Broken Promises by Monica Murphy

SYNOPSIS:5008601

Commitment. That’s what I really want from Colin. Ever since my brother, Danny, died in Iraq, Colin’s done so much to help me, including giving me a job at his popular restaurant so I can leave my crappy waitressing job at the strip joint. But lying in bed with him every night to comfort him from his horrible nightmares isn’t enough anymore. I know he feels guilty about Danny’s death, about not going to Iraq, but I can’t keep living this double life.

I love him desperately, but he’s got so many demons, and if he can’t open up to me now, then he’ll never be the real partner I need him to be. I gave him a month, and now I’m out of here. If he truly loves me like he says, he knows where to find me.

REVIEW:

So I have waited and waited and waited to start this book. I was scared and nervous and anxious but I finally decided to grow a pair. The book was freakin amazing! I can’t believe I waited as long as I did to read it. I forgot how fast I fall in love with Monica Murphy’s writing and the characters just suck me in and captivate me. I was giggling by 7% in!

I love how feisty Fable is, how blunt Drew is, how Colin is an *sshole, and how Jen is a harbor of feelings. I just love everything about this book, this series. I hesitate to read it because I don’t want it to ever end. There are twists and turns and sound advice from people you least expect. Monica Murphy doesn’t disappoint!
