Review: White Girl Problems by Tara Brown/AE Watson

SYNOPSIS:White Girl Problems- Tara Brown

When a severely drunk, and slightly drugged, Finley Roze finds herself in a hospital bed, she never imagined it would start her on a path to meeting the man of her dreams.

Mostly because she didn’t believe in the man of her dreams.

What seventeen year old even thinks of that?

But when Aiden Sorenson turns out to be Mr. Right, everything else ends up being wrong, including Finley’s family history.

Finley is exactly what she appears to be, callous, selfish, shallow, and completely friggen unlucky.

But everything changes when she meets him because Aiden isn’t what he seems to be at all.

And when Finley discovers just WHAT he is, she is not as impressed as she should be.

She’s scared.

Sometimes the problem with meeting Prince Charming is letting yourself be open to the possibility of True Love

Don’t miss this True Love Story. (AKA a fairytale romance)

Just don’t tell Finley.

This book was the opposite of what I was expecting in the best possible way. It is a YA Romantic Comedy, I was prepared for pretentious, snobby, superficial, self-entitled teenagers causing hell for no reason other than because they can. And the first 20% is exactly that. You meet Finley (I love this name) and her best friend Linna and they are causing trouble, being overly flirty, drinking and partying it up. However, a party goes wrong, so many things go wrong, and Finley finds herself being shipped off to Canada. In Canada, Finley gets and attitude check and meets Aiden (cue swooning).

Aiden is mysterious and sweet and kind and I love him! He sends Finley on day trips while he is away and writes her letters in the mail, its so adorable and sweet and romantic. I need to find myself and Aiden! As Finley falls for Aiden, so do I. I will not reveal the twists, turns and other struggles but this book was so much more than I anticipated. It was everything sweet and romantic and it was exactly like a fairytale. You will meet a ton of secondary characters that like myself will steal your heart and have you smiling. This book was too cute for words, highly recommend if you are looking for something silly and sweet!
