Review: Never Goodbye by Kerri Williams

REVIEW:
So many feelings, that is how I sum up this book. Harper and Vaun are perfect, simply perfect. Harper, she is the definition of strong and resilient. She has been dealt a rough hand and its impressive that she doesn’t give up, she continues to fight. There were moments when I could have cried along with Harper, I take that back, there were moments when I was crying along with her. Her pain was tangible and I could feel it to my very core.
Then there is Vaun, I feel so bad for this broken, hurt boy who is putting on a show for everyone around him. He acts like a tough guy but when Harper breaks through his wall, I could have melted into a pool of sappy goo. I could relate to both characters. I could feel their pain but most of all I could feel there determination. The only thing I did not like was the book wrapped up too quickly and I wanted more, but I guess thats not a bad thing. I absolutely loved that the chapters start with a famous quote. It warms my heart that Kerri took enough time to seek out relevant quotes and I will definitely pick up the next book In the Albany Boys series.
