REVIEW:
This book started arrive a chapter a day in my inbox, and I thought why not give it a try. I really enjoyed reading this and for my first Meljean it was a refreshing, unique take on steampunk dystopia. The characters are complicated, Elizabeth constantly on the run and her crazy father constantly searching and seeking her return.
The reasons why I won’t reveal but he sends out hunters and hounds for her. I also enjoyed the little romance that blossomed when you least expected it to. I loved the ending and just overall enjoyed this read. It is a new take on the steampunk genre. I would give it 3.5 stars
