Review: History of Fire by Alexia Purdy
SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:
I am so glad to continue the story that Shade started and now we are branching off and learning about Benton and Anna and their fire elemental abilities. Benton struggles with finding himself and he spends a large portion of the story trying to figure out who he is. He gets injured during a fight and is saved by Sary and Braelynn. Then he continues on a journey with them and starts to fall for Sary. I find these two relate-able; unfortunately they are both harboring so much pain, anger, and sorrow that I don’t think this could ever work. Sary lost Stephen (her chosen) and she is just struggling not to wither.
The Unseelie are still around and still causing problems as expected. I was excited that we got to learn a lot about the history and heritage of the fire elementalists and that there is an great deal of skills that Benton has yet to learn and master. I look forward to see what is in store for these characters (especially Anna) …how could Alexia leave me wondering if she was serious as to how this whole situation was going down. Can’t wait to get a hold of the next one!
