REVIEW:

*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*

I am going to start off this review with my biggest pet peeve about this book, and that is the book is incorrectly classified…at least for me. This far exceeds Romance and drifts right into Erotica. While the story was still prevalent and played a major aspect in the turn of events, there was simply too much sex, to the point where it was at least once a chapter if not more than once and to the point where I was noticing it significantly enough to feel uncomfortable with the classification of the book.

That aside, you can certainly tell this book will be part of a trilogy as all the pieces of the puzzle are laid out for us and flipped to the correct side but you don’t even know where to begin because you are searching for a corner piece. The book explains the complicated history between Allie and Hudson and how Hudson hopes they have a future together, even though she is engaged and he has alliterative motives. Allie in my opinion is weak, she is banking on her parents money and does whatever they want. The end of the book concludes with her finally realizing that she needs to come into her own and try to be more than her family name and money. There is also shady business, druggies, lifestyles of the rich and famous, and an ex-fiance on the war-path. Overall the plot was great and I loved the complexity of the characters, just wish the book didn’t have so much sex.
