REVIEW:
*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*
I officially declare Rachel Van Dyken the queen or romance. She can truly do no wrong and The Matchmaker’s Playbook takes her to a completely different level. A truly unique concept for a story in a genre that is quickly becoming filled with various versions of the same story, Wingman Inc. takes the college by storm.
Can I shamelessly say where was Wingman Inc. when I was in college (which was 2 years ago) because I could have really used Ian and Lex…or just Ian! I also love how Rachel Van Dyken incorporates parts of her life and personality into the stories, such as being a Seahawks fan and doing Crossfit, this person touches bring the story to life.
Now lets talk about Ian, he is everything you want in an alpha, cocky, sexy, witty, smart…he is pretty much perfect. Blake is the perfect contrast to him and they counteract each other in wonderful banter. Lex is a puzzle I want to unwrap and solve and Gabi is her own level of sassy spice. As a science major I really appreciated the research Rachel did and she didn’t just throw out random garble that isn’t factual. Needless to say, I can’t wait for the next book in this new series.
