This book was amazing, honestly why have I waited so long to read it?! Seriously, shame on you brain for postponing this book. But at the same time bravo, because now I need to immediately binge read the series. I just closed the book 10 minutes ago and I am already dying to know what happens next. I am declaring my immense, undying love for Kai now, just putting it out there into the world and praying that this series doesn’t pull a Twilight on me and throw in a love triangle.
So Anna, is sweet, innocent, wholesome, and possesses so much good that it gives me hope for the Neph. Kai is waiting to be saved, really, they all need to be saved but Anna is the girl for the job. When the story started, I was initially hesitant but I was quickly hooked. Kai is drop dead sexy, for more than the obvious reasons and Anna is his polar opposite, I am a sucker for this type of budding romance. Can we even call it a budding romance? Screw it, we absolutely can…because it better be!
I loved the complexity of the story. This isn’t just your typical high school drama. It is a completely unique feel to the classic story of angels versus demons, it’s refreshing and captivating. The secondary characters are just as colorful, interesting, and developed as the main. It is a well round story with a lot of potential outcomes that I am dying to know.
