My heart is so very full as I hear the conclusion music playing from the audiobook. This book was by far my absolute favorite in the series. I have never been filled with such a mixture of sorrow and joy at the same time. J.K. Rowling flawless blends the sacrifices everyone must make with small and large victories.
Harry really came into his own this book, his determination and even his questioning was inspiring. I loved all the blossoming romances in this book and nothing brings a larger smile to my face than the epilogue. The deaths gutted me, I sobbed at losses, while I understand necessary, Lupin held a special place in my heart and his timely end gutted me in an unexpected way.
This was just everything I wanted out of a book, adventure, drama, excitement, the whole array of emotions held me captivated. It was perfection to listen to and there were so many backstories I wanted to hear and no loose end was left dangling. I have never felt more pride to be in Ravenclaw and have an eagle patronus as I do right now. I am just so happy, content, and satisfied. I now I understand the magic the books offer far exceeds that of the movies, which will non-the-less hold a special place in my heart.
