Review: Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh
SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:
This story wasn’t bad but in comparison to the others, it was just meh for me. I had several issues with this story, my primary issue being that Clay could do better than Talin. Talin seemed like such a fickle, weak character and while she did progress over the course of the story, I just never gelled with her. There relationship while complicated and delicately interwoven, I found forgiveness to happen a little to fast. I mean, Clay thought she was dead and that revelation lasted a whole 12 hours before he was obsessed with her again.
So while I was luke-warm on the romance in this book…I was absolutely captivated by the story-line. I am obsessed with watching the chaos of The Council unfold, I certainly looked forward to those chapters far more than the romance ones in this book. New factors have been added in to the equation and there are a lot of uncertain variables that have yet to show there cards but I applaud Nalini Singh for writing such a captivating plot.
Who knew the world would be so complex and there were so many variables that the Psy simply overlooked or didn’t bother with. I can’t wait to watch the downfall of their superiority complex. As for Kaleb, I am interested to see where his story goes, he is a wild-card and I am can’t predict his next moves, much like the rest of The Council members.
