REVIEW:
This book is the best one in the series yet! Mercy and Riley’s chemistry is scorching the pages as they try to navigate the world of wolf and cat. Can they find a happy middle ground or will they end up tearing each others face off. Their banter had me laughing out loud and in small moments when Riley wasn’t putting his foot in his mouth, he had me absolutely swooning. Mercy is hell on wheels but her determination and independence is inspiring. Mercy’s family was also absolutely hilarious, and they won me over the instant they appeared.
In terms of the plot, a lot of interesting twists happened in this book. The Council is pure savage, I don’t know who to trust and there were so many unexpected turns in this book that I am dying to know what happens next. The Net is struggling to survive and The Ghost…who is he?! I need to know who The Ghost is…ASAP! All the characters I have grown to know and love are back and there is a happy twist that had me squealing in delight! Lucas and Hawke’s relationship has me laughing my *ss off every time they are brought together.
What can I say other than this book was flawless for me. The plot was well-developed and balanced with the romance that was hot enough to leave me blushing. It was a perfect merger of all the components I want in a story and while the covers in the series are still all the levels of meh, its no longer dampening the books themselves. Onward to the next one!
