Review: Infraction by Rachel Van Dyken
SYNOPSIS:

So much love for this book! I started off feeling luke-warm about this book. I wasn’t sure if I was going to vibe with it or if it was going to really connect but by the last couple chapters I had tears in my eyes. Typical Rachel Van Dyken, hook-line-sinker. I honestly don’t know why I had any doubts. Infraction is a sizzling hot romance that had me swooning, sobbing, and sighing. Rachel artfully crafts real characters with tangible emotions.
While the plot was somewhat predictable, it didn’t take away from the story. I adored that this is a 2-for-1 story where you get Kinsey and Jax both getting their own HEAs. Em and Sanchez are back and up to the same shenanigans we saw in Fraternize. There is also a filter-free Grandma who had me hooting and hollering the second she appeared on the page (for more hilarious Grandmas…see The Bet Series by Rachel Van Dyken).
I was torn with my love of Jax, I would have liked more time for his relationship to develop but I am happy that Rachel acknowledged openly in the story that it happened fast. Miller and Kinsey had hilarious banter blended with touching moments that had my heart yearning. The tenderness of Miller had me wanting to cuddle up to him and never let go. My hands-down favorite moments though are when Sanchez, Miller, and Jax are together. The bromance is alive, well, and funny. What can I say other than that it was just a good read.
