Review: Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh
Since the moment of her defection from the PsyNet and into the SnowDancer wolf pack, Sienna Lauren has had one weakness. Hawke. Alpha and dangerous, he compels her to madness.
Hawke is used to walking alone, having lost the woman who would’ve been his mate long ago. But Sienna fascinates the primal heart of him, even as he tells himself she is far too young to handle the wild fury of the wolf.
Then Sienna changes the rules and suddenly, there is no more distance, only the most intimate of battles between two people who were never meant to meet. Yet as they strip away each other’s secrets in a storm of raw emotion, they must also ready themselves for a far more vicious fight…
A deadly enemy is out to destroy SnowDancer, striking at everything they hold dear, but it is Sienna’s darkest secret that may yet savage the pack that is her home…and the alpha who is its heartbeat…
REVIEW:
This book was everything I hoped it would be and so much more! If you have been following my binge fest of this series I have been not so patiently waiting for Hawke’s book and let me tell you, it blew my mind! There was drama, passion, plot-twists, unexpected surprises, unexpected romances, and I lived for it!
The main romance was between Hawke and Sienna, and I have been waiting for this spontaneous combustion for far too long! They burned up the screen of my Kindle from the non-stop banter and pushing each other’s buttons to the moment where they admitted they need each other, I was enthralled…I couldn’t put the Kindle down! There passion for love, life, and each other had me feeling all the feels.
Then there was the unexpected surprise that I got a second romance in this story…hello Walker! Tall. dark, and handsome what a pleasant surprise you were. Seeing Walker get a slice of happiness only made me fall in love with the story more but the real icing on the cake was all the drama with Pure Psy.
Council Henry Scott has clearly gone bat-sh*t crazy and I was here for it…and his hopeful demise! There was tension, war, and a crazy battle. I was so worried characters I have grown to love were going to die, but Nalini flawless captured the battle field. Council Nikita…while I am still unsure about her, she truly showed her bad*ss side in this book, by 90% I was cheering her on for being such a savage! Council Kaleb is still a mystery I want to unravel and I can’t wait to learn more about him. Overall this book was a seamless blend of tension, romance, and drama that had me reading from start to finish in one sitting.
