Review: Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs

REVIEW:
This series is going to be my downfall. I have been patient and well behaved, slowly buying my time waiting on Mercy and Adam, but Lord have mercy because if I don’t see some action soon I am peacing the f*ck out. Seriously, I love a good slow burn but now we are getting to the point where Patricia Briggs is just being a tease and its not cool. I am going to need some details fast…so the next book best have some answers.
Now the plot is phenomenal, I really adore Stefan and was so happy to see him back in the story line. One thing I am not a fan of is that Patricia seems to keep the books categorized, for example if the book is about Fae, Stefan is barely around and if the book is vampire focused, there is no Zee. I would like a more seamless union of characters in the story. So while Fae are absent from this book, the vampire drama is in full swing.
Mercy can honestly not catch a brake. This is the type of story when you read and you’re like “what are the chances?” because Mercy finds herself in so many situations where you are sighing at how ridiculous it is. Simultaneously, you know who Mercy is and its not surprising at all that she keeps getting sucked in like this. Samuel is growing on my concern character list and I am grateful to see he will be playing a part in the next story. Adam is still swoonworthy and wonderful and I will go down with this ship, no matter how far it sinks.
In a surprise twist, I am really starting to grow fond of the werewolves, particularly Ben. They all bring such a fire and passion to the story. So A+ if you are searching for an action packed plot that will keep you turning the pages and a C- if you are hoping the romance is going to ever move past kissing. *Heavy sigh*
