REVIEW:
This novella was hot, hot, hot. So I was casually scrolling through social media one night and saw this cover…I mean d*mn just take a moment to reflect on how sexy this book cover is. In my typical fashion, I was sold on the cover, read the synopsis, and immediately one clicked this bad boy. I finally got around to reading it and it did not disappoint. These characters were strong, resilient, and confident. They scorched up the pages in a flawless balance of sex, banter, and temptation.
Skyler is adorable and her charisma is a magnet that you can’t help be drawn to her. Gage, well lets be real here…I saw the words ‘former MMA fighter’ and my first thought was h*ll yes. I love me a good ex-fighter because you know that body is going to be rock solid. Elle Kennedy artfully balanced sex and the characters actually getting to know one another. I never felt that the story was rushed or the scenes were forced.
In all honesty, it was a quick, fast read and how can anyone resist a good girl and bad boy romance? I was thrilled to see that there are two additional stories in this series and they focus on Gage’s friends…I am off to one click them now!
