Review: Heavy Equipment by Skye Warren

REVIEW:
Trying to play catch up on the Read Me Romance podcast and finally got to listen to Heavy Equipment by Skye Warren. This is my first Skye Warren book and it is raunchy. I was sorta in a state of shock, as this is extremely dirty. Although this strikes me as classic erotica because when I reflect on the story line and flow…there wasn’t a whole lot there.
Asher is definitely an alpha male and knows what he wants, and he wants June. Skye doesn’t play around as June and Asher are immediately engaged in a game of cat and mouse. But my problem is if you remove all the orgasms and sex, and look at whats left, there are a lot of questions.
How did June’s father get into this debt? Do June and Asher even know anything about each other? It seems like Asher knows her but she never even seen him prior to her father selling her off. How does Asher how so much money? Also where the heck is the book even set? I just need a story to accompany the copious amounts of sexy times.
