Review: Trying It by Riley Hart & Devon McCormack
SYNOPSIS:

REVIEW:
I feel like over the course of this series, and especially this story, I have taken away one important message, you do you. If there is a kink you love, who the f*ck am I to judge. Do whatever makes you happy because those who truly care will support you regardless of if they ‘get it’ or not. Which was totally the case with Frankie and Evan.
These two had an undercurrent of sexual chemistry from the moment they met but they were both meant for so much more. Evan had to heal from past trauma and Frankie needed to learn how to let things go. This story was delightfully endearing. Evan really found himself, a kink where he can truly be in his element, but also his voice. He was so much more than than the man stealing whore I initially titled him as.
Watching these two grow together tugged at my heart strings. The more I dive into the M/M world, the more I am learning but at the end of the day, love is love and regardless of who it is, it still makes my heart soar. The passion and feeling that Frankie and Evan share feel so very real, I celebrated their triumphs and my heart hurt when they stumbled.
The gang is all back and you get to see Travis and Gary’s wedding, cue the swooning. I just love the chemistry and total passion each of these couples’ has. I am sad that there is only one novella left. The pacing and tempo of these stories is relatable and the friendships seem as if I am sitting at a table, having a beer with old friends. Sad to see it go, but glad Evan and Frankie finally caved into their undeniable attraction.
