Review: The Princess, the Prick & the Priest by Ella Frank
Everyone said our love wouldn’t work.
That it was too hard, too complicated, too messy.
Oh how I enjoy proving everyone wrong.
My men are smart, sexy, sophisticated—
and most of all, crazy about me.
The only problem is trying to explain
that to my big, opinionated Italian family.
But after all we’ve been through, we deserve a
happily ever after. And if there’s one
thing I know about my guys, they always
manage to have a few surprises up their sleeves.
REVIEW:
This book was so adorable it had my heart soaring. Was the story necessary, absolutely not. Did I love watching these boys sail off into the sunset together, h*ll yes! If this series has made me realize anything, it’s that I love happily ever afters, no matter what form they come in.
I love that this is book 4 in the series and I am still learning delightful quirks about these boys. Priest seems to finally be coming into his own now that a lot of his ghosts are no longer lingering. Julien has learned to heal and in the process found self-forgiveness. And Robbie, well he will always be a fabulous handful. Robbie’s family was everything that had been built up in my head. There were so many scenes that had me laughing out and loud and smiling like crazy.
I think after 2 really emotionally heavy books, a light, fluffy HEA like this was exactly the closure I needed. The love radiates from the pages, were there some ridiculously cheesy scenes, yes. Would I change them…not one bit! That ending was everything I hoped it would be and the epilogue…I don’t think my heart could handle anything more. It was a sticky sweet ending, sprinkled with plenty of steam.
