REVIEW:
I was NOT emotionally prepared for this story…like not even a little bit. I cried not once or twice, but FOUR times. And three of those times were within the first 35% of the book. So needless to say I am feeling a lot of feels after finishing this story.
My emotions feel extremely frayed and raw when it comes to Maximoff and Farrow. I am intensely protective of them, and I love how there is never room for weakness or insecurities in their relationship. This might be one of the strongest couples I have ever read. But that isn’t saying that going public with their relationship didn’t come with challenges. The paparazzi is so relentless and it had my heart aching.
There were numerous plot twists throughout this story. Some brought tears to my eyes, some had me gasping, and others had me swooning. The drama, tension, and family dynamic carry the story line. There is no room for drama or pettiness in Maximoff and Farrow’s relationship. Instead the narrative focuses on what do Maximoff and Farrow want to do career wise and where do they see their relationship going in the long haul?
The secondary characters, aka the family and other members of security, make the story. I love learning more about their personalities, what makes them tick, and seeing them shower Maximoff and Farrow with love and support. But the ending of this story was by far my very favorite and will forever have my heart soaring. I cried happy tears for at least 10 minutes straight and I am tearing up thinking about this tender scene all over again. F*ckin perfection!
P.S. Super impressed I was able to keep that spoiler free.
