REVIEW:
Don’t mind me, I will just be over here drowning in a glass case of emotion. Holy crap this book was all the freakin feels! There is just something so satisfying about going into a story where you know its going to be all about tying up loose ends and giving readers the happily-ever-after they desire.
My heart is so very full. As I read the last page; I laughed so hard, I cried and I shed tears of joy because if there are two characters who truly deserve a ride off into the sunset, it’s Dylan and Ace. This story gave me everything. I got closure on the Brenda front. There were glimpses of characters from other Ella and Brooke series…cue all the squealing when Priest appeared. But most of all, after being put through the emotional ringer in the first 2 novels, to see this book so overflowing with love had me smiling throughout the story.
I think my hands down favorite part of the series was the bachelor trip to Cabo. In which I had to stop reading several times because I was laughing so hard that tears were blurring my vision. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard when reading a book. Absolute chaos ensues and bless Carlos, who is there to capture it all. Just thinking about these chapters is making me smile and giggle all over again.
But lets not forget Ella and Brooke can bring the heat too, and boy did they ever. I am going to forever blush whenever I see red velvet cake, which is a d*mn shame, because it’s my favorite too. HA! And let’s not forget, I get closure on the mysterious Zorro, who we all know I am so crazy intrigued by. And just thinking about how that whole thing played out has my face heating again.
The wedding, absolute perfection. Ella and Brooke are able to capture love in its purest form. It flows off the pages and I am so elated for these characters. I am almost sad they aren’t real. I feel like I am saying goodbye to friends. Truly a beautiful story and journey to be on.
