Review: Classified by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank
Classified is the final book of the Elite Series and should only be read after book one, Danger Zone, and book two, Need for Speed.
They train to serve their country.
They strive to be the best.
But only a select few can be…

MATEO MORGAN
CALL SIGN: SOLO
Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the U.S. Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.
MISSION RULES:
1.Kick everyone’s ass.
2.Do whatever it takes to win.
3.Do your best to distract the competition.
4.Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

GRANT HUGHES
CALL SIGN: PANTHER
Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.
MISSION RULES:
1.Keep it safe in the air.
2.Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3.No distractions. Stay focused.
4.Don’t fall for your competition—especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.
In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.
With passion this intense, the question remains:
Who’s gonna come out on top?
REVIEW:
The perfect conclusion to an action-packed, seductive series. The story picks up with Solo and Panther going public at the Navy ball and this is only the start of the drama that ensues in this story. This is the book that solidifies the steamy, sexual tension between these two into love.
While we have known for two books now that the sexual chemistry is palpable, we have also seen how resistant Solo is to letting anyone in. And while Panther is ready to make the leap into commitment, Solo is still uncertain. Some of the trials in this story address that, including an encounter with Panther’s father that left Solo shaken and full of self-doubt. While I didn’t care much for this blip of drama, I found it necessary because Solo really needed the wake up call.
Over the course of the book both men put words to their feelings and it had me swooning nonstop. But the story is about so much more than the tender, beautiful relationship, its about The Elite training school coming to a conclusion. Tensions at base are at an all time high as the competition for the top spot heats up. I loved the endless adrenaline rush from the hops, the excitement and energy from the characters is tangible.
The way that everything plays out had me grinning from ear to ear. These adorable, sweet men deserve everything and all the happily-ever-afters. I loved finally seeing Solo and Panther unite as a team and make plans together. There were plenty of endearing moments that left me happily sighing with content but my favorite was Solo’s graduation gift to Panther.
As always, do I feel like this book was a little long, yes. Could it have been a novella, probably. But did that stop or alter my enjoyment of the series…absolutely not. I love that most Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank books have a final book in the series where ever little detail is smoothed over and they truly let their couples ride off into the sunset and that was no different for this series. And the ending, sigh, I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion.
