Blog Tour/Review/Giveaway: Not So Sincerely, Yours by A.M. Johnson
Ethan,
About last night… I could blame the bourbon. I could say I let things get out of hand, that I should have never called you, but I’m done lying to myself—to you. I know what you’re going to say. You’re not very good at keeping your opinions to yourself, but this can’t happen. It’s inappropriate, at best. I’m your boss. Not to mention, you’re clearly still hung up on him. I’m not a consolation prize.
Anders~

Anders,
You didn’t think it was inappropriate when you had your tongue down my throat, but I digress. As for your accusation, I’m not the only one stuck in the past, but at least I’m not running from it. I can’t believe I’m about to say this… Maybe you’re right. You shouldn’t have called me. Especially if you never intended to own it. Own that you wanted it to happen. Admit that you wanted me.
Not so sincerely,
Yours
REVIEW:
*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*
This book was everything I wanted and so much more! I was absolutely enchanted by this story, from the slow burn, enemies-to-lovers to the palpable sexual tension and angst, I couldn’t get enough of Ethan and Anders. In fact, I think I liked their story more than Jax and Wilder’s journey.
The character contrast and growth was hands down, my favorite part of this book. Ethan and Anders are complete opposites. Their first encounter is frigid and chilly to say the least. There is certainly an underlying animosity between the two, opinions have been made and judgements drawn. Now throw in some meddlesome Wilder, and Ethan now works for Anders. Chaos ensues, and it’s the most delicious kind.
Ethan has absolutely no filter, his transparency and confidence had me laughing-out-loud throughout the story. Anders, in contrast, is so rigid and he slowly begins to unravel while working with Ethan. These two push and pull each other and over the course of the story they strength each other. It was just so endearing to watch each man grow. Ethan found the steady constant he so desperately wanted and Anders found someone who pushes him to explore and be a better person.
These men have so much heart and depth and the best part of the story was when they finally gave into each other. I loved the slow burn and how Anders was desperately trying to fight his attraction. I adored that when Ethan found himself vulnerable or insecure, they communicated. The relationship was so solid and had me feeling all the fuzzy feels.
There wasn’t any big drama, llama blow up and I loved that. The biggest challenge for Anders and Ethan to get over were themselves. It was truly just a sexy, snarky feel good story. The sassy emails, the flirty text messages, and the happily-ever-after had me endlessly swooning and my face hurting from smiling. I just couldn’t get enough and now I just want more.
