Review: Gift Wrapped by E. Davies

SYNOPSIS:

OTTO: A misdelivered prank gift sees a huge box on my doorstep on Christmas Eve—and when a naked man steps out of it, all my Christmas daydreams come true. Maybe I won’t spend this holiday season by myself after all.

GRAY: The snowstorm is thick and fast, so I’m stuck at this gorgeous stranger’s house. I’m too embarrassed to admit to my family what delayed me from joining them, so Otto steps in to rescue me again—by pretending to be my boyfriend. Only trouble is, I’d really like him to be my boyfriend for real.

Can we find the best gift of all this Christmas: a future together?

REVIEW:

Okay the synopsis for this story is silly and completely un-realistic but if you look past that, the story was adorable and super cute. Otto and Gray have undeniable chemistry and while the course of this story literally spans two days, it felt like their relationship flowed naturally. And as my first E. Davies book, I have to say, I will definitely be check out some of his other works.

Past their unconventional first meeting and Otto being completely reckless by allowing a stranger to stay in his home, I enjoyed these characters. They were charming, at times awkward, and they complimented each other perfectly. They definitely had plenty of sexual chemistry and honestly, if this would have been a full length novel with a longer time it, the story would have been *chef’s kiss*. As is, it was a delightfully quick, sweet and sexy read.
