Review: Screwed by K.M. Neuhold

SYNOPSIS:

I’ve had my fair share of less than proud relationship moments, but waking up married to my brother-in-law’s best friend is a new low.

A drunken wedding to a man who already rejected me once? Check. A hefty bet about how long it will last? Check. My feisty new husband, determined to make our friends pay up? Double check.

I’ve never managed to make a real relationship last nearly a year, there’s no way Daniel will stick around long enough to win this bet. The only problem is the longer he stays, the more the lines blur between what’s real and what’s for show. Does he feel it too or am I totally screwed?

REVIEW:

Honestly, putting Ollie as the 4th book is truly a crime; how dare this man have to wait that long for a happily-ever-after!? I positively adored these two, Ollie and Daniel lived up to my expectations and I simply could not get enough of them.

As soon as these two wake up hungover and married, I knew chaos was going to ensue and I was here. for. it. I loved how their fake marriage rapidly turns into a plot to get the Four Bears Construction Crew to stop bullying Ollie; and let me say, Daniel is the man for the job. He is fiercely protective and over all the ‘jokes’ and ‘jabs’ at Ollie’s love life. And what can I say, the man had me swooning in his own way.

Then there is sweet, precious Ollie who can’t help but fall head-over-heels for Daniel. The man had the biggest heart and he treats Daniel with so much respect and love that I was just all up in my feels. Now, don’t get me wrong, there was definitely plenty of steam between these two! But their chemistry wasn’t limited to the bedroom, they did what people in relationships should do. They lifted each other up, and made their partner a better person and I loved this so much for them. A perfect, feels good read.
