REVIEW:
This anthology was positively magical! If you are a fan of the Necessary Evils Series, then this is the book for you. And as an avid fan, I devoured this story. I didn’t want to put it down, I was a giddy mess as I dived back into this wonderful world and some of my favorite characters.
We got bonus epilogues, extra scenes, prologues, and best of all Core Four….I’ll come back to that. I could read 20 books like this, it is just delightful. You get to see why wedding planning is so hard for Noah, the hold Zane’s mother still has on him, Atticus being his quirky self, August proposing which had me actually swooning, Archer and Thomas didn’t get as much time but *whispers* that’s okay because they aren’t my favorites.
But the thing I was most excited for was the Core Four and boy did these scenes not disappoint. My god they were sizzling and I was blown away. I didn’t want to put the book down and yet I wanted to savor every single moment and detail. Asa, Avi, Felix, and Zane just work together. I loved learning the intricacies of their relationship and seeing them develop a deeper bond. They truly patch either others broken parts up. I also liked getting glimpses of Asa and Avi’s twin-communication which is far deeper than I thought.
Overall an absolute must read and one I will definitely re-read in the future. So grateful to Onley James for sharing this with us non-Patreon people. My only hope is that there is more to come.
