REVIEW:
I absolutely adored this series, its the perfect fluffy escapism read. There is minimal drama, plenty of steam, meddlesome siblings, and an HEA. Is there insta-love/insta-lust, yes but sometimes I just want to sink into a story where things aren’t so heavy and that is Alpha Dragon’s Cat.
Alaric has participated in the Dragonfate Games four and now starting the fifth time. He is frustrated, wants a mate, and wants someone to blame for his bad fortune…tune in Jade. I loved the animosity and attraction between these two. It was a playful cat and mouse game of will they or won’t they. The banter and snark was top-tier and had me endlessly grinning.
I loved getting to see glimpses of the other family members too. I am giddy for Viol’s book but clearly we are saving the best for last. Then there is sweet little Poppy, I hope he gets his happily-ever-after too! I am even more excited for his story after he told Alaric off, little timid wolf has some spice after all.
