Review: Psycho Fae by Jasmine Mas
Fight for survival in the deadly gladiator Fae Games.
Jax, Cobra, and Ascher are now my teammates.
We’re fighting for our lives. And our futures.
But nothing is at it seems, and for every secret we uncover, another unfolds.
Under the spiteful watch of Xerxes and the evil Fae Queen, it’s not clear we’re going to survive.
Can we work together? Or will we implode?
One things for sure, I’m about to uncover my destiny.
Power is in my veins.
REVIEW:
This story was more unhinged than the first book. I didn’t think that would be possible but here we are. The endless plot twists keeps me on my toes and the politics, power plays, and betrayals have me turn the page; unable to put the story down.
I feel like to appropriately start off this review, Ascher is the gum on the bottom of my shoes. There I said it and feel better now that I got that off my chest. I knew from the second Xerxes appeared that he was going to hook, line, and sinker me….and he did just that. Such a mysterious man but also a puzzle I wanted to solve. I just find Sadie fascinating as a character, she is truly demented. Her sarcasm, braveness, and pure determination to refuse to die is captivating. She is a train wreck I can’t look away from.
With her fierce idiots, I mean protectors, I love how they argue over her but unite against her. The Fae Queen is the definition of horrible and evil and while we have to grind through this story, the ending she gets is so satisfying. Aran was a delightful wild card of a character that I truly cannot get enough of. Not to mention the ending is a crazy huge plot twist I never saw coming. Is this story absolutely crazy, yes…am I going to keep reading it, bet!
