Review: Halfway Girl by Tessa Bailey

SYNOPSIS:

The team’s resident linebacker, Jerimiah, has gotten used to making people uncomfortable. He’s huge, intimidating and doesn’t have a lot to say. Until he meets Birdie. Now he can’t seem to stop talking, if only so she’ll say more. And stay a little bit longer. To be fair, she doesn’t really have a choice, since they just got locked in the basement together at a frat party…

REVIEW:

This audiobook was sweet, sexy, and all the feels. I absolutely loved it! So disclaimer, I haven’t read the previous books in the series, but that didn’t take anything away from Birdie’s story, if anything it made me want to move the other two in the series up on my TBR list! I am just swooning so hard over this book.

Jerimiah is a gentle giant and every time he spoke, he carved a little further into my heart. *Swoon, Sigh* I love when Tessa writes NA because she is a master at it, and Birdie was no exception. From Birdie’s journey of self-discovery to both her and Jerimiah admitting how crazy everything is, I was a giggle, blushing fool. I listened to this at work and lets just say, when things got real sexy, my face got real red. D*mn this book was the perfect balance of steamy scene balanced with tender moments, making this whirlwind romance totally worth the listen!
