Review: Look But Don’t Touch by Cara Dee

SYNOPSIS:

Nicholas Ford, a successful club owner in his mid-thirties, decided a while back to deny his Daddy nature in order to follow his family’s advice and settle down. The day before he is to attend his girlfriend’s sister’s wedding, he makes an appearance at his BDSM club and runs into Kayla, a bubbly Little Girl who captures his undivided attention. Look but don’t touch, Nicholas tells himself. What he doesn’t know is that Kayla’s in town to go to her cousin’s wedding…

REVIEW:

Guys…I have a confession to make, I am too wholesome for BDSM. I can’t with the story. I am just too innocent for this raunchy branch of romance. I know that it is a well loved kink within the romance community but…this kink ain’t for me.

Cara Dee is another new author to me from the Read Me Romance podcast and now I know why I haven’t heard of her. She is more erotica, which we all know isn’t my thing. My usual struggles with erotica are the lack of the story lines. But that wasn’t the case in this book. I just couldn’t get past the dirty talk, Daddy, and Little Girl talk. Like I am shookth and traumatized. How do people do this?! My face is the color of a tomato and I can’t.

I did finish the story, but this is not the book for me. While there were steaming hot sexy times, they were ruined by all the role-play talking. Do people really live like this?! I don’t understand…and honestly that’s okay because I don’t think I want to. To each there own, and this isn’t mine.
