Subject: You’re a flippin’ idiot

Good morning my dear, naive friend, I hope you’re enjoying a breakfast of regret and sorrow

Why?

Because you sent me to work for Dean Harper, aka a control freak in a tailor-made suit. Sure he owns the trendiest restaurants in NYC, but c’mon Jo, his ego makes Kanye West look like the Dalai Lama.

He’s the type of guy that only hears the word “no” when it’s followed by “don’t stop.”

Working for Dean Harper would be like selling my soul to the devil… and before you say anything, I don’t care if the devil has punch-you-in-the-gut brown eyes and an ass to match. My soul isn’t for sale.

Regretfully yours, Lily

REVIEW:

I finished The Allure of Julian LeFray and immediately went to Amazon and ordered this book and it did not disappoint. I loved it almost as much as I loved the first one! Filled with plenty of laugh out loud moments, I couldn’t keep the grin off my face. The contrast between Dean and Lily had me hooked, from them constantly butting heads till they couldn’t resist each other anymore, I absolutely adored the story line! Filled with plenty of steamy moments, hate sex, love sex, and tension blended with humor, ridiculous situations, and an HEA, it was an absolute joy to read this book!

Dean is an absolute brooding, moody, control freak. I loved watching him bicker with Lily because she is just as anal, stubborn, and prideful as Dean. It wasn’t a joke when Jo said they would get along like oil and water. That is a spot on description, but there is no denying that for as much as the fight, there is that much sexual tension blooming between them. They are both down right gorgeous and who could fault them being drawn to each other. I love that they constantly challenged each other and threw down gauntlets. I mean really, who doesn’t love a good enemies to lovers read?!

When Dean and Lily weren’t searing the pages of the book, they had me in fits of giggles. Lily’s inner monologue of taking no b*llsh*t from anyone was amazing. She was sassy, independent, and determined. The only thing I missed is I would have loved to see her doing reviews and critiques on her food blog, just like Jo wrote posts for her fashion blog. I missed the posts during this story. There was a fun plot twist that I didn’t see coming but I loved the crazy antics Jo, Lily, and Dean had to jump through, seriously I was near tears from laughing. *Sigh,* this was just a d*mn good book!
